According to HaqQin.az, during the trial, which was held in the Sabail district court, the submission of the investigative body on the extension of the arrest of the former minister was considered and satisfied. Thus, the term of arrest S. Muslimov was extended for another 3 months.
Recall, Salim Muslimov was charged under articles 308.2 (abuse of official powers, entailed grave consequences), 311.3.2 and 311.3.3 (repeated receipt of bribes in large amounts). By the decision of the court for the ex-minister elected a preventive measure in the form of an arrest.
