Theses of Medvedev: Russia should not deal with current leadership of Ukraine

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev published an article in the newspaper “Kommersant” in which in five theses explains why Russia should not speak with the current leadership in Kiev.

According to Medvedev, Ukrainian leaders are unfortunate people who are in finding self-identification and composing a new story, while their president, “having certain ethnic roots”, is forced to lavish between different forces and “make moral flip-mortal”, To resist in power.

Next, he declares that the Ukrainian leadership is not independently, but is located under direct foreign control and completely depends on the United States (refers to Putin’s article), while America does not need to do anything other than the total containment of Russia. So “we are meaningless to us with vassals. Causes need to be held with Sisser.”

According to Medvedev, here it relies on his own “household experience” of communication with the Ukrainian colleagues, the current leadership of Ukraine is interested only in personal enrichment, without thinking about government interests, and therefore, to lead a dialogue counterproducer with them.

In the fourth thesis, the former Russian President calls the Ukrainian leadership of optional and unreliable people who are ready to change the political course at any time.

and in conclusion it follows the question: what to do? Medvedev gives him an exhaustive answer: nothing, just wait, when a guide will appear in Ukraine (from the point of view of Moscow), ready to build equal and mutually beneficial relations with the Kremlin. “Russia knows how to wait,” Medvedev sums up, “we are patient.”
