The Flagship of Civil Aviation of Turkey – Mospey Türk Hava Yolları (Thy) was awarded the prestigious publication of The World Finance in the nomination “The most stable air carrier” (Most Sustainable Flag Carrier Airline). This was reported by the press service of Thy.
The award was awarded for the successful implementation of the CO2MISSION carbon balancing, the use of ecological aviation fuel (SAF), environmental clean waste processing and a high level of services provided to passengers.
Thanks to these achievements, The World Finance has been awarded the Ty Prize for the second year in a row in the nomination “The most stable air carrier.”
Since 2008, Thy has implemented more than 100 projects to reduce carbon capacity. In 2022, the company prevented emissions of 181 379 tons of greenhouse gases, saving 57,581 tons of fuel.
