South Korea and Japan reported that North Korea launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
The statement of the General Staff of South Korea says that the DPRK at 06.53 local time issued a missile, presumably medium -range, which fell into the Sea of Japan.
The Ministry of Defense of Japan said that the rocket launched by North Korea was in flight of 650 kilometers and fell outside the Japanese national exclusive zone.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kisida said that the test of the rocket violated the resolution of the UN Security Council.
“This is a problem that concerns not only the security of our country, but also the security of the region and the international community, and it is absolutely unacceptable,” he said.
