Competition Commission of the Baku Slavic University (BSU) canceled on November 25th at once, two requests for quotations at the request of the state regulatory authority – one of the structures of the Ministry of Economy.
According to Turan, the reason for the cancellation of quotations requests has become numerous appeals from potential suppliers of goods and services to the public service of antitrust control and supervision of the consumer market. This was stated by the representative of the Competition Commission Elnur Aliyev, commenting on this decision. “The complainants argued that the email address on which the exchange of information was not valid was not valid. Therefore, it was decided to conduct repeated competitive purchases,” he noted.
At the same time, the representative of the BSU does not accept the complaints of the companies and claims that the email address specified in the competitive declator is valid and has been taken on it several applications.
Agency draws attention to the fact that the request for quotations for the purchase and installation of turnstiles in the BSU administrative buildings would end on November 26th. That is, the decision to cancel the procurement procedures was made practically on the last day.
