The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRK) reported that the first group of citizens of TRK from the Gaza Strip arrived in Egypt.
The Foreign Ministry’s statement says that as a result of consultations with Turkey, citizens of TRSK, together with 50 citizens, crossed the RAFakh checkpoint and reached Egypt today.
It is noted that even more citizens TRSK are evacuated from Gaza in the near future.
The statement emphasizes that citizens of TRSK, who, after evacuation, were met by representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Egypt, will be delivered to TRSK from Cairo.
“We will continue efforts on the safe and speedy completion of the evacuation of all our citizens from the gas sector,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
