Fully suspended exports of carpets from Iran to Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As the Azad İran telegram reports, this was stated by the former Chairman of the Iranian Export Confederation of the Razi Gaggi Agamiri.
According to him, Turkey is one of the main importing countries of the Iranian carpet. However, recently, due to the political tension of Iran with Azerbaijan and Turkey, the official Ankara introduced a ban on the import of carpets from Iran.
Agamiri noted that although Azerbaijan was not the main buyer of the Iranian carpet, a certain amount of products was also exported to this country, but after the last political processes, sales in this area fell to zero.
