The suspended ceiling fell in a hotel in the city of Sarykamysh, the Turkish province of Kars, said the head of the Turkish Ministry of Health Fahrettin Koja on his Twitter.
“32 people turned to help. 23 received medical care on the spot, 9 were hospitalized. The condition of the victims was generally good,” he wrote.
According to CNN Türk, the incident occurred during a mass event at a hotel dedicated to the 108th anniversary of the battle of Sarykamysh during the First World War.
