“All these countries showed their interest in joining and are preparing to apply for membership. I think this is a good step, since the expansion is always perceived positively, it will clearly enhance the influence of BRICS around the world,” she said.

According to Anand, the accession of these countries, as well as Iran and Argentina, who submitted applications at the end of June, is possible soon, including at the next group of the group in 2023 in South Africa. She emphasized that “all representatives of the core of the association are interested in expanding.”

The President of the International Forum noted that the real manifestation of the BRICS force is now observed, in connection with which there is a chance that the union will be able to work to create a new world order, “for example, in issues of resource exchange, the development of trade, financial and aviation routes.

On June 27, it became known that applications for joining Brix were submitted by Iran and Argentina. Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi noted that the “geopolitical and geo -economic situation of Iran can make him a stable and reliable partner BRICS,” the Argentine leader Alberto Fernandez pointed out that his country is aimed at being full members of this group. ”

BRICS currently includes five countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The group arose in 2006 on the basis of cooperation of the four countries, in 2011 South Africa joined it. The goal of BRICS is a comprehensive partnership at the political, economic and interethnic levels.
