Turkey, Iran and Pakistan resumed rail transportation

Turkey, Iran and Pakistan announced the resumption of the railway container service connecting Istanbul, Tehran and Islamabad, writes Gulf News newspaper.

“Railway communication will significantly reduce the cost of transporting goods from Pakistan to Turkey, which usually takes at least 30 days by sea,” said the head of the Pakistani freight company Maxtelz Logistics Game Zia.

The length of the route is 6,656 km, and on its passage is required less than 12 days.
