Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned attack in Pakistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey condemns the terrorist attack against one of the partners of the Coalition Government of the Pakistan of the Congress of Islamic Society of Ulemov (Jui-F).

The Foreign Ministry statement says: “We learned the news with deep sorrow about the death of people as a result of the explosion that occurred during a political event in the northwest of friendly and fraternal Pakistan.”

“The Foreign Ministry of Turkey most decisively condemns this terrorist act and expresses sincere condolences to loved ones and relatives of the dead, the government and the people of Pakistan,” the statement says.

Ankara once again states that Turkey will continue to support the friendly and fraternal Pakistan in his fight against terrorism.

The number of victims of the attack in the Pakistani Province of Haiber-Paktunchi has grown to 44.

According to local media reports, the explosion occurred in the building where the Congress of one of the partners of the Coalition Government of the Islamic Society of Ulemov (Jui-F) was held.

No one has taken the responsibility for the attack yet. As a result of the explosion, at least 44 died, more than 200 people were injured.

More than 500 delegates participated in the Congress of the Islamic Society of Ulems.

– In the first 6 months of 2023, the number of terrorist attacks in the country increased by 79 percent.

According to the statistics of the Institute for Research of Conflicts and Security, since the beginning of the year, the number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan has increased by 79 percent.

According to the institute, in six months in the country there were 271 terrorist attacks, as a result of which 389 people were killed.
