A radiation, chemical and biological protection (RHBZ) of the Turkish Armed Forces play an active role in ensuring the security of the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Anadolu reports.
Turkish experts of the RHBZ, deployed at the military base in Doha, are ready for all types of chemical, biological and nuclear threats in the clock. There are all the necessary equipment at the disposal of experts, dozens of response scenarios for attacks as part of the tournament are worked out.
To ensure security at the mundial, in addition to the RHBZ unit, Turkey was involved in the domestic anti -submarine corvette Burgazada, built as part of the Milgem project, a group of sappers PMKİ, a special group for finding bombs and combating drones.
