Turkey and Pakistan intend to establish close cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
This was told by the “Anadol” by the deputy minister of defense industry of Pakistan Khumayun Aziz in the fields of the IDEF-2023 International Defense Exhibition in Istanbul.
According to him, Turkey and Pakistan have been working closely in the field of defense industry for more than 20 years.
Aziz said that countries also established cooperation in the field of aviation industry.
“Between the Pakistani shipyard in Karachi and the Turkish companies of STM and ASFAT, very good relations have developed. Ships are already being built in Pakistan, I hope we will also work on a joint project of submarines. In addition, cooperation in the implementation of projects for the production of small -caliber weapons has been established. In general, Pakistan and Turkey have been cooperating in many areas. Over the past 10 years, cooperation has expanded expanded into geometric progression, ”he said.
Aziz expressed the hope that countries would also begin to cooperate in the production of UAVs and military aircraft.
“In the production of ships and submarines, great progress has been reached. We are open to new cooperation regarding UAVs and planes,” he said.
According to Aziz, the parties appreciated the possibilities of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in the fields of the exhibition.
