In the season of 2022-2023, Turkey exported hazelnuts in the amount of 1 billion 795 million dollars.
A written statement by the Association of Exporters of the Black Sea Hall, it is said that the hazelneck export season, which began on September 1, 2022, ended on August 31, 2023.
During the indicated period, 298 thousand 557 tons of hazelnuka in the amount of 1 billion 795 million 189 thousand $ 783 were sent abroad.
Hang-up export indicator in the season 2022-2023. Compared to the previous season, it decreased by 12% – by 41 thousand 590 tons in quantitative terms and by 9.6%, that is, by 190 million 854 thousand 786 dollars in financial.
The statement notes that the volume of exports in August amounted to 90 million 327 thousand $ 450 for 15 thousand 111 tons of hazelnuts.
Exporters hope that the new season will become favorable for all participants in the sector and higher export indicators will be reached.
