Türkiye increased LNG imports by 46%

The import of natural gas to Turkey in May of this year increased by 46.13 percent compared to the same month last year and amounted to 320,370 tons. This is evidenced by the new report on the regulation of the energy market of Turkey.

The main exporters of LNG to Turkey were Algeria, the USA, Russia, Kazakhstan and Nigeria.

Meanwhile, LNG exports from Turkey in the period under consideration decreased by 64.31 percent – to 11,493 tons.

The main importers of LNG from Turkey were the Marshalls of the island, Bulgaria, Jordan, Greece, Romania, the free zones of Turkey and Lebanon.
