Türkiye took part in NATO exercises Steadfast Defender

In Poland, NATO exercises were held by Steadfast Defender 24 (“Stronger Defender-24”) with the participation of 9 countries of the Bloc, including Turkey.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey on the social network x.

“The teachings of the Steadfast Defender 24 conducted in Poland with the participation of 9 NATO countries, including Turkey, are successfully completed,” the statement said.

NATO called the maneuvers “the largest military exercises in Europe since the Cold War.”

In the exercises that, according to the alliance, “are designed to check and clarify NATO defense plans to strengthen European defense against almost equal enemy”, 90,000 military personnel took part.
