Türkiye will continue successful development

Resolutely defending the rights that Turkey received according to the Lausanne Treaty, the country will strengthen its achievements with new steps.

This is stated in the message of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Lausanne Peace Treaty.

“Today marks the 100th years of the Lausanne Peace Treaty, which has become one of the turning points in our history,” the appeal said.

The head of state emphasized that in the process of negotiations and the signing of the Lausanne peace treaty, the desire of the Turkish people to complete independence was clearly manifested. “Despite the difficult circumstances, this will led us to victory in the liberation war. It still directs us, illuminates our path and gives us determination to the struggle in the face of difficulties,” said the Turkish leader.

He emphasized that Turkey will continue its efforts to establish peace, stability and security in the region.

President Erdogan also gave tribute to the founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturku and his associates, as well as all the heroes who fell in the struggle for the independence of Turkey.
