President of the Taekwondo Federation of Turkey Metin Shakhin, commenting on the conquest of three gold medals in the World Cup in the capital of Azerbaijan Baku, said: “We are creating history. For the first time in our history we won 3 gold medals.”
Metin Shakhin, after the conquest of Hakan Rechber and Nafia Kush of Gold Medals on the fourth day of the championship, shared emotions with the correspondent of the Anadole agency.
Shahin thanked Azerbaijani sport fans for the strong support of Turkish athletes.
“Today we won the third gold medal at the World Cup in which 140 countries take part. Today we are the country with the largest number of gold medals. We are doing history. For the first time in our history we have won 3 gold medals,” said with pride with pride President of the Federation.
On the fourth day of the championship in Baku, Nafia Kush won a gold medal in the female weight category +73 kg. And Hakan Rechber rose to the highest step of the pedestal in the male category to 63 kg.
