Turnout of voters on single voting day in Belarus amounted to 73.09%

The voter turnout on a single voting day in Belarus amounted to 73.09 percent. This was reported to the CEC of Belarus on Monday, February 26.

“According to preliminary results of the elections, all 1284 local councils were formed in the rightful composition, of which: 6 regional and Minsk city, 118 district, 10 city cities of regional subordination, 14 city cities of district subordination, 8 village and 1127 rural”,- follows- follows From the press service of the CEC.

The Chairman of the CEC Igor Korpenko said that on the basis of the requirements of Article 92 of the Electoral Code, information on the results of the elections of deputies of local councils of deputies and lists of elected deputies are subject to publication in the media no later than the fifth day after a single voting day.

He added that on Monday, February 26, at 14.00 local time, preliminary results of the elections of deputies of the House of Representatives and Local Councils in numerical terms will be announced.

In Belarus on Sunday, February 25, a single voting day was held. Voting plots worked from 08.00 to 20.00 local time.

Deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the eighth convocation and local councils of deputies of the twenty -nine convocation were elected.
