Ukraine and Russia are preparing for the beginning of the “extremely active phase” of hostilities in the south of the country. This was stated by the head of the United Coordination Press Center for the defense forces of the south of Ukraine Natalya Gumenyuk.
“The formation of the Russian strike group in the Kryvyi Rih and attempts to tighten the reserves is observed,” the Ukrainian media quotes Gumenyuk.
According to her, because of this, it is necessary to ensure the evacuation of the population. “Threats and warnings about the onset of the extremely active stage of war take place, we must understand this that such actions are not excluded … We are preparing for active hostilities, the enemy sees this and is also being prepared,” Gumenyuk said.
