Ukraine asks Turkey to check three more Russian vessels

Ukraine turned to Turkey with a request to check three more vessels going under the flag of Russia, for the presence of grain stolen from Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters with reference to the previously unpublished letter of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The letter dated on June 13 is called three ships – Mikhail Nenashev, Sailor Poznich and Sailor Cat – which, according to the Ukrainian side, were loaded with grain in the port of Sevastopol in April -May. P>

All three vessels belong to the subsidiary of the Russian “United Shipbuilding Corporation”, which fell under Western sanctions after a full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine.

The office of the Prosecutor General asks the Turkish side to receive documentary evidence of the origin of grain on the courts. The diplomatic source of Turkey told Reuters that the cooperation of Kyiv and Ankara by origin of grain continues.

On the eve, it became known that Turkey began an investigation into the origin of grain on the vessel of Zhibek Zholy, which on the eve arrived at the port of Karas from the Zaporizhzhya region captured by the Russian troops of Berdyansk.
