Ukraine bought grenade launchers from Germany in amount of 25 million euros

Ukraine purchased 5100 manual anti-tank grenade launchers “Matador”. The Government of Germany gave permission for the sale of weapons. The first batch arrived today – 2650 units of RPG. The remaining 2450 new copies must put before the end of May, reports BILD.

Purchase cost – 25 million euros.

“Matador” is a light manual anti-tank grenade launcher produced by the Armory of Dynamit Nobel Defense (DND). His weight is 7.5 kg. It is capable of punching armor to 50 cm, that is, almost any tank. According to the BILD insiders, the Minister of Economy of Germany Robert Habek played a decisive role in the rapid supply of weapons. Also, it is noted that Germany received a request from Kyiv on Friday on March 18 and on Monday he was already approved.
