In connection with the separation of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station in Ukraine, the mode of operation of hydroelectric power plants has been changed.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
This is done in order to reduce the scale of flooding by reducing the volume of water entering the Kakhovsky reservoir, the company said.
As the report, Ukrenergo, together with Ukrhydroenergo, is working on scenarios of further balanced operation of the energy system, taking into account the current realities.
