The Ukrainian ambassador to Berlin Andrei Melnik, who insulted the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Sholts, calling him “offended Liver Sausage”, decided to apologize after a month and a half. He stated this in an interview published on the website of the German magazine Spiegel.
“Looking back, I naturally regret what was said. I personally apologize to him,” said the ambassador of Ukraine.
He also added that his act upset the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and he had to explain to the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleboy. Now the miller would like to personally talk with the Chancellor of Germany.
