Sarah Maskroft was fired at the UN – the head of one of the offices of the organization serving the Palestinians. According to Times of Israel, Maskroft was fired after she condemned the Islamic jihad terrorists in her post on social networks.
“I am glad to see that the agreement on the ceasefire put an end to hostilities affecting both the Palestinians and Israeli civilians. Such an indiscriminate shelling of Islamic jihad, which provokes the response of Israel, is condemned. The safety of all civilians has a primary meaning – it is necessary to observe the ceasefire, ”she wrote.
After that, the UN employee collided with the squall of criticism from the missing activists. She deleted the post, apologized, and later closed her account on Twitter.
The UN said that Sarah Maskroft will be appointed to a new post. It is unclear whether it will remain in East Jerusalem.
