UN postponed a biodiversity conference from China to Canada

Due to the Chinese policy of Zero-Covid, the UN decided to transfer the conference on the Bioreracy of China to the Canadian Montreal, informs Al Jazeera.

According to the report, China adheres to a strict policy regarding the virus in order to prevent its mass distribution. This implies strict restrictions, especially for foreigners. For this reason, the UN decided to transfer the conference from Kunmin to Montreal.

The event will be held in mid -December. At the conference, it is planned to sign the Convention on the preservation of biological diversity and various natural ecosystems. Despite the change in the meeting place, China will still be the chairman of the upcoming summit. The logo and topics will also remain unchanged.
