UN Secretary General condemned explosions in Iran

UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterres decisively condemned the explosions near the cemetery in the southeastern Iranian province of Kerman.

This is stated in a statement widespread by the office of the head of the World Organization.

GUERRISH urged to “hold the perpetrators to justice.”

Secretary General expressed condolences to the families of the victims, the people and the government of Iran, “and wished the wounded speedy recovery.

The number of those who died as a result of two explosions near the grave of Kasem Suleimani in the Iranian province of Kerman increased to 103, another 211 people were injured.

The incident took place on the 4th anniversary of the death of the Iranian general as a result of the US airline in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.

Iran’s authorities called the incident terrorist attack.

The Government of the Islamic Republic announced on January 4 to the day of national mourning.
