UN Security Council did not adopt resolution of Russia with a call to cessation of fire in Ukraine

UN Security Council did not adopt the draft resolution of Russia in Ukraine, calling for the cessation of fire for the evacuation of civilians achieved on the basis of negotiations, the document did not gain the necessary nine votes for out of 15, RIA Novosti reports.

Russia and China voted for the adoption of the resolution. The remaining 13 members of the Security Council (France, United Kingdom, USA, India, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Norway, Albania, Brazil, Gabon, Ghana, UAE) with the voting abstained. No country voted against resolution.

Moscow requested March 23 Voting at the UN Security Council on its project of the Humanitarian Resolution in Ukraine.
