The UN General Assembly on Monday will take a resolution on the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
The decision to convene the UN Security Session on Sunday was adopted by the UN Security Council. For the convening of the session, 11 members of the Security Council voted, Russia voted against, China, India and the United Arab Emirates abstained.
Such an extraordinary Session of the UN GA over the past 70 years is convened only in the 11th time.
The decision to convene the Genasembly Russia for the regulations could not block. The veto on the resolution of the General Assembly permanent members of the Security Council must not be imposed, but at the same time resolutions ha are declarative in nature – although the British and American diplomats were told by world agencies, it is also important enough.
