UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterres said that he hopes that Moscow and Kyiv will agree on the exchange of prisoners in the format of “all at all.”
He called the exchange of prisoners a positive thing that reduces the suffering of the prisoners themselves and their families.
“The position that I expressed is that ideally it would be to exchange” all for all “in order to eliminate this drama in the lives of so many people,” said the UN Secretary General.
Speaking of whether the organization is ready to promote such an exchange, Guterrys noted that usually issues on exchange are a prerogative of the ICKK.
