The rating is prepared based on data 4362 higher educational institutions. The first 5 places were taken by Harvard University, Harvard Medical School, University of Qinghua, Standformation University, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
UNEC in this ranking among the universities in the world in 708, and in Azerbaijan on 1 place.
The rating is determined by 3 categories: research activities (SCOPUS database), access to innovation and influence on society. UNEC on research was decided on 399 locations, on access to innovation in 443th place, on an indicator of influence on society in 249th place.
