The Israeli army put into operation a new combat drone (“rhino”) capable of launching various combat grenades with high accuracy, and for several purposes at the same time.
The new drone can aimed at the grenade in the window of the room where the terrorists are hiding, the military observer Yoav Zeytun said.
Unlike a one-time combat combat drone, Maoz, Karnaf is endowed with the possibility of multiple use. After completing a combat mission, he is able to return to the base to the instructor who drives him into action.
The devices have already been at the disposal of several selected parts of the IDF, and in the future it is also planned to transfer them to the infantry troops.
At the same time, in the IDF they work on the creation of an innovative drone of “Khazaka Yad” (“Strong hand”), capable of starting a controlled missile with a warhead. The rocket is based on a known projectile with a diameter of 120 mm and is designed to defeat the enemy infrastructure.
