US President Joe Biden announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia on the Independence Day.
“Today we are announcing new sanctions in order to hold guilty in forced movements and deportations and demand the return of Ukrainian children to their family,” the statement published on the White House website said.
US President Biden congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day and stated that the United States will continue to support Ukraine.
The US President said that for eighteen months Ukrainian families live under the daily threat of Russian missiles and in reality of cruel attacks, but the people of Ukraine have not broken.
The details of the new sanctions in the statement of the White House are not given.
