USA sent B-52 Stratofortress bombers to Afghanistan to combat the Taliban Movement Movements, writes Times with reference to sources in defense circles.
According to the publication, the bombers flew to Afghanistan from the American Base in Qatar. Their number is not specified.
Airplanes are punched by targets in the provinces of Kandahar, Herat, Lashkaryg and Gilmend. Also used land forces support aircraft Lockheed AC-130 Spectre.
