The United States and their allies on NATO sent the air defense system to Ukraine, reports CNN with reference to an unnamed high-ranking official from the USA.
“US and their allies on NATO are already sending several anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine for help in its defense. These additional systems include mobile SA-8, SA-10, SA-12 and SA-Sa- 14, “said a high-ranking official.
It is reported that these systems have a smaller height range than the C-300 system that Ukraine requested, however, their range is higher than that of Stinger missiles previously supplied to Ukraine, which gives them the opportunity to affect the winged rockets. According to this high-ranking representative of the United States, the systems were obtained from NATO partner countries and are “on the way”.
