United States trained Ukrainian military who sank a Russian warship

American experts trained the Ukrainian military, who sunk the Russian ship Vasily Beh in June, handling the Harpoon missiles. The Deputy Minister of Defense of the United States for procurement and support of William Laplart told Defense One about this publication.

According to the laplant, the military taught to use American weapons at the end of May. “A week later, these” harpoons “were sunk two Russian ships,” he said.

On June 17, the Ukrainian military struck the Russian Tug’s rocket Vasily Beh, which was driving ammunition, weapons and sailors of the Black Sea Fleet. The tugboat burned out and sank along with the Tor anti-raquetic complex on board. Harpoon anti-ship missiles of the production of Boeing were transferred to the Ukrainians of the US Sanizer, which Laplant did not name. The missiles were removed from the ally ship and installed in the back of the on -board truck. The second truck served as a “source of energy”, said the representative of the Pentagon.
