US Air Force, South Korea and Japan conducted joint exercises

South Korea, the United States and Japan conducted joint naval exercises near the Korean Peninsula with the participation of the American strategic bomber B-52H. This was reported by the South Korean news agency Yonhap.

The maneuvers were carried out a few hours after the launch of the DPRK of the Ballistic missile in the direction of the Japanese Sea.

According to the report, the exercises are organized in order to increase the potential of restraint in response to the “growing nuclear and missile threat” by Pyongyan.

It is noted that the parties intend to expand the scale of joint exercises and maneuvers in the Korean Peninsula area in connection with the frequent missile launches of North Korea.

Earlier, Tokyo and Seoul said that on April 2, the DPRK launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of Japan.
