US military bases fired in Syria: soldiers were injured

Three American troops were injured as a result of two missile shelling of military bases in Syria on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the US Army Central Command, which is quoted by the Israeli media, said.

The Pentagon said that last night there was a shelling of the two military bases of the United States Green-Willij and Konoko in the northeast of Syria. The missiles were released, apparently, as a retaliatory step for American bombing the day before, objects of pro-River militants in Syria. One soldier from the base Konoko received an easy injury and has already returned to duty, the command reported. Two other soldiers from the Green Willij base undergo medical examination.

After the attack, the US forces raised Apache combat helicopters and struck a number of strokes, as a result of which three vehicles and equipment that were used to launch missiles were destroyed. Three River militants who launched missiles were also killed.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US Air Force, on the direction of US President Joe Biden, struck the objects in Syria, which belong to the Iranian Corps of the Islamic Revolution (KSIR). “The goal of air strikes was infrastructure facilities used by groups related to Iranian Xir,” said the Central Command of the US Armed Forces. The command stated that President Biden instructed to strike “to protect American personnel from attacks from the pro -Iranian groups.”
