US National Intelligence Chief doubts success of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia

to achieve settlement in Ukraine through negotiations is still unlikely, said US National Intelligence Director Everyl Hines during the hearings in the Committee for the Armed Forces of the US Congress Senate.

“taking into account that both Russia and Ukraine believe that they can continue to achieve military successes, we do not see the opportunity for viable advance forward through negotiations, at least in the short term,” said TASS, director of the exploration of the USA.

Speaking about the war in Ukraine, Hines said that over the next few months it is possible to “move towards greater unpredictability and potential escalation.”
