US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Ukraine as part of the scheduled visit, reports Agence France-Presse.
According to the agency, on Wednesday morning, the aircraft with the US Secretary of State landed in Kiev.
During the visit to Ukraine, Blinken is scheduled for meetings with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleleb. According to the announcement of the State Department, the head of American diplomacy will confirm the “US commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
