US Secretary of State discussed situation in Yemen and Syria with Foreign Ministry of UAE

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Nahayan held a telephone conversation on Wednesday.

This was announced by the head of the press service of the State Department of the United States Matthew Miller.

The parties during the conversation discussed the prospects of peaceful settlement in Yemen and the mechanism of cross -border assistance of Syria.

“Secretary of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed bilateral and regional issues, including general commitment to the world in Yemen. As for Syria, the Secretary of State emphasized that the UN Security Council must authorize the UN cross -border assistance for the next 12 months and ensure unhindered for this period. Access through all three border points used at the moment, ”said the press secretary of Miller.
