The coordinator of strategic communications in the National Security Council of the White House John Kirby said under what circumstances US President Joe Biden will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“You heard the president himself said at a meeting with President Macron that if Putin shows serious readiness, then he will definitely be ready to meet him,” Kirby said.
According to Kirby, the leaders of Russia and the USA will be able to meet if the Russian side shows serious readiness for negotiations. “The head of the American administration would be ready to negotiate with the Russian colleague only if there is serious and real readiness from Russia,” said the coordinator for strategic communications in the Council of National Security of the White House.
