The United States is going to allocate Armenia at least $ 60 million. This is stated in the report of the Committee for the Assiguing the House of Representatives of the United States for 2023.
The report notes that the $ 60 million intended for Armenia will be aimed at the economic development of the country, increasing the performance of the private sector, energy independence, the development of democracy and ensuring the rule of law.
It is also noted that the Committee is concerned about the consequences of the Second Karabakh War and the solution of humanitarian problems relating to security areas, providing the population with housing, food, water, etc. It is also provided for the allocation of two million dollars for the clearance of the territory of Karabakh.
