Lockheed Martin plans to increase the production of Himars missile systems from 60 to 96 launchers per year. This was announced to investors by General Director Jim Tyklet, writes Politico.
The weapon has proven its effectiveness in Ukraine, the company notes. In total, the United States plan to put 38 installations to Ukraine, 20 of which are already located in the country. Before starting a counterattack in September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the bridges and warehouses of ammunition of the Russian military, sowing chaos in logistics and devastating reserves.
