Assistant Minister of Defense of Security in the regions of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, Ilai Ratner and China Ambassador to Washington, See Feng, a meeting in the Pentagon, at which bilateral relations in the military sphere and other issues were discussed, the Pentagon press service said.
The parties considered the “relations of the United States and China in the field of defense, as well as a number of issues of international and regional security”.
“Ratner also emphasized the adherence of the ministry to maintain open communication lines between the military and China,” the Pentagon said.
The initiative to hold the meeting came from the American side, the details of the conversation were not published.
