“We sent 16 Himars systems, which is actually quite a lot. Again, these are not the systems that, according to our estimates, are needed hundreds to have such an impact. These are accurate guidance systems for very specific types of goals, and Ukrainians use them that way, ”Kal explained.
According to him, Britain and Germany also pledged to put Ukraine three similar systems similar to Himars – M270 and Mars II, respectively.
CAL added that in the new military assistance package, high -precision GMLRS ammunition for Himars will be delivered, which affect targets at a distance of 70 km. The use of these ammunition, as the official said, is comparably “with a air strike with point -pointing.” With their help, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are affected by command and management nodes, security and logistics centers, key radar systems.
