The United States transfer strategic B-52 bombers to the UK, writes UK Defense Journal.
Aircraft began to arrive at Farford air base – the reserve of NATO. It is used together with the US Air Force. It is still unknown how many aircraft was transferred by Washington.
B-52 Stratofortress refers to intercontinental bombers, which can carry even nuclear weapons. At the beginning of the year, 4 B-52 aircraft were already transferred to the UK. After that, they made a number of joint flights from the Air Force of other NATO countries in Europe.
