USA, Japan and South Korea will take tough measures against possible transaction of Russian Federation and DPRK in arms

The USA, South Korea and Japan promised to take strict measures against a possible agreement on the supply of weapons between Russia and North Korea. This was reported by the Yonhap news agency with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea.

The relevant statement was made at a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea Park Zhin with the American and Japanese colleagues Anthony Blinken and Yoko Kamikawa in New York.

During the meeting, ministers discussed the visit of the North Korean leader Kim Jong -un to Russia and his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in particular the topic of a possible transaction in arms between Moscow and Pyongyan.

The heads of the three foreign policy departments expressed deep concern about military cooperation between Russia and North Korea, noting that a possible agreement on the supply of weapons will violate the UN Security Council (UN Security Council).

The meeting of the North European leader with the President of the Russian Federation took place at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region September 13
