The United States recognize the right of Ukraine to carry out military operations in the Crimea, as they consider the peninsula by Ukrainian territory. This was announced on Friday by the coordinator of strategic communications of the National Security Council John Kirby.
“Crimea is Ukraine. And Ukrainians have the right to decide where they will conduct operations within their country,” he told reporters.
