Vice-Chancellor FRG admitted that Germany truly can’t help Ukraine

Vice-Chancellor, Minister for Economics and Climate Protection FRG Robert Habek acknowledged that Germany at the moment cannot really assist Ukraine. He expressed this opinion on Thursday in an interview with ZDF TV channel.

“We cannot really help Ukraine,” Habek admitted. At the same time, he expressed an understanding of the disappointment of Kiev because of the position of the federal government of Germany. The earlier introduction of sanctions or supply of weapons to Ukraine, according to the minister, would not have any meaning.

At the same time, Habek argued that Russia would come out of this situation with the loser party, since “West will completely turn away from the Russian Federation from an economic point of view.”
